Funding news!

Late last year we were really lucky to be awarded £1000 from Give Local, United Way and £1500 from the Police Commissioner towards a really lovely, necessary project with Asylum Seeking and Refugee Young People. We can now hold a monthly drop in with GYA young people and new arrivals to Gateshead. The project is around developing essential life skills, making new friends and taking social action and responsibility. This project couldnt happen without the kind support of our funders. We can't thank them enough.

And this wasnt all, we were super lucky to be awarded over £6000 from the National Lottery Awards for All towards updating our ancient tech and delevering life skills training to young people. We are currently setting up the PC's and licensing and will soon be ready to go. Dipsticks Research in Hexham were kind enough to donate six really good PC's so we have been anble to stretch the budget even further. Instead of four computers we now have eight!

This is all late to our news section but we have all been poorly with the dreaded viral lurgy!
